Associate Producer & Editor

In just six weeks, I pitched, produced, edited, and posted nearly 200 pieces of social content for Sundance’s social following of 2.2 million.

My role supported both content production and the social media teams so I was uniquely positioned to influence Sundance’s creative output.

Sundance by the numbers:

  • 8M+ Instagram accounts reached and over 21M impressions in 30 days

  • Gained over 31K followers on Instagram during the festival

  • Over 7.7M views on TikTok content in four weeks

  • Increased TikTok following by +5.2K

This experience allowed me to wear many hats: producer, interviewer, editor, copywriter, and social media manager. As a producer, it was a goal of mine to increase the production value of the social coverage with custom Sundance-branded microphones and socially-optimized editing.

Curating Virality

With a stacked festival schedule, the Sundance social team couldn’t cover every single carpet, event, and Q&A. My role as a producer and editor was to clip and optimize the best moments for social. I clipped panels, press interviews, and Q&As to promote programming and keep Sundance in the cultural conversation. In addition to editing these videos in CapCut, I wrote social copy and handled publishing.

Sundance tasked Superbloom with creating three unique videos a day to tell the festival’s story on social. I captioned each asset in CapCut, wrote post copy, and shared across Sundance socials.
